Apple Pressing in April
This years Apple Pressing on the afternoon of 19 April was another successful nursery event. Despite the aweful weather and a poor apple season, participants brought scrumped apples and made good use of Malcolm McKenzies apple press and the new education centre - with roof but no windows or doors!
Having frozen the apples made for very clear juice and lots more of it (over 30% more juice apparently).
